Hellas in Goettingen

Perfect ... the perfect Greek ... Two days ago we ordered the Hellas platter, two calamaria, stifado, exochiko and the gyros in Metaxa sauce with gratinated cheese. Plus 3 tzatziki .... Mmmm ... Everything was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the point ... !!! However, we did not expect that the portions are so huge ... Anyway, there is still something left for the next day and you can feast again ... 🥰. Many thanks to the Hellas team and the Lausing family wishes you all the best for the future ...! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Top food very nice reception

People still cook with love here, and you can taste it! Very tasty food, really big portions at fair prices! I can only recommend! However, if you want to make the grill plate, you shouldn't have had breakfast that day! ;-)

Best pita bag far and wide! Unfortunately I only discovered the shop during the pandemic and I hope that it will survive this time!

I was in Göttingen for one night and found this little Greek. Saganaki appetizer handmade by mom in the kitchen and not from the freezer as is so often the case. Perfect. Giros fresh and tasty. Perfect. Father and son in service. A little piece of Greece in Göttingen. Many Thanks.

Hellas restaurant is super great, delicious lamb chops and everything else to be recommended, enough and not too little. Lonely top.

The owner is sweet as sugar, doesn't speak much but reminds me of my grandpa :) Authentic Greek cuisine. If you want chic, this is the wrong place. But the food is solid and absolutely delicious ❤️

I love it. The atmosphere has not changed since 1973; I was here for the first time in 1975. The landlord is 80 and serves friendly, his sister obviously cooks as always. One of the sons supports his father in a lovable way. I usually eat lamb au gratin here. With Bamjes. Nowhere better than that. First class meat. And the mocha at the end is really hot. The flair is unique for those who appreciate it. There is still a heart point for that. Efcharisto.

We were surprised that Hellas was open! We were especially happy that Jannis and his family are doing well !!! The food and the atmosphere at Hellas were once again unique! Dear Jannis, stay healthy ...

We are so happy that Hellas has reopened. This is the best Greek cuisine I have ever experienced. It's small there, very cozy and the atmosphere is unique.

Fortunately, we were able to reserve a table at short notice and celebrated my birthday here for two. Everything was great - the food (Juwezi), the drinks, the service, the atmosphere and the value for money. You feel very comfortable here. I can only recommend this small restaurant in the city center 💙 We will definitely be back!

We went to this wonderful little restaurant for the second time today. We felt very comfortable here from the first minute. The service is great. It is very personal and family. The portions are great and the food is very tastefully presented on the plate. The price-performance ratio is more than correct. We would love to come back.

Lovely gem! Flavorful, high quality food clearly made with care. Quaint, cozy atmosohere! A terrific find easily accessed off the autobahn and a 4 minute walk from the famous Gänseliesel Fountain.
